Govt releases 2024 public holiday schedule


ISLAMABAD In an authority declaration, the Government Bureau Division has delivered the timetable for public occasions in the year 2024, giving residents a guide for arranged breaks consistently.

The year starts with Kashmir Day on February 5, recognizing the battles and forfeits of individuals in Kashmir. Pakistan Day, which takes place on March 23 and commemorates the country's founding, comes very close.                                                      

Eid-ul-Fitr occasions are set for April 10, 11, and 12, denoting the finish of Ramadan. Also, May 1 has been assigned as Work Day, regarding the commitments of laborers.

The Eid-ul-Adha holidays last from June 17 to June 19, and the Muharram holidays are on July 16 and 17, which are the same day as Ashura Day.

On August 14, the nation's citizens will be able to commemorate Independence Day. Besides, September 16 is set apart as Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, celebrating the introduction of Prophet Muhammad.
